The whisky bottled for the Tobermory 23 Year Old was originally earmarked to be botled as the Tobermory 15 year old but was left to age for 8 more years in its oloroso sherry casks. This has resulted in a splended whisky with salted toffee and floral honey, finishing with caramelised walnuts and a subtle salty undercurrent.
